The  Washington University Center for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, directed by Robert Thompson, MD, treats neurogenic, venous and arterial (TOS).

The thoracic outlet is an area of the body located within the lower part of the neck, beginning just above and behind the clavicle and overlying the first rib, and extending to the upper part of the arm.

TOS is a general term used to describe conditions caused by compression of the major nerves and/or blood vessels in this area.
